In Search of Oldton

We're at the back of the new school buildings, on the edge of the playing fields.

Nothing much seems to go on here. From my own experience, I can only think it's a place where pupils gather for a quiet smoke after lunch, or casual conversations about sex and homework - or maybe a little light bullying.

In the photo of the school taken from the other end of the playing fields, you can see the building that sits full square in this sector of the map, but there isn't much of a clue about what goes on in there.

I'm quite surprised by how few memories of school people have sent me. Perhaps this is a piece of our lives that remains fresh in our minds and that we never really lose.
