In Search of Oldton

Oldton has disappeared

From Sep 03 to Aug 04, Tim was the Digital Writer In Residence for the Writers for the Future project, where he embarked on a four month Roadshow to evangelise digital writing and encourage people to collaborate with him in creating Oldton online.

Tim is considered to be one of Europe's leading experts on interactive narrative and speaks regularly at industry events & workshops.

Trained as a journalist and editor, working on various national magazines and newspapers, Tim left print publishing in 1995 to become one of the three Managing Partners of NoHo Digital, one the UK's most successful independent new media agencies.

In 1999, Tim and his creative collaborator Rob Bevan left NoHo to form XPT. In that time he has been the lead writer of two BAFTA-winning interactive projects - the comedy self help disk MindGym and Web & email drama Online Caroline, as well as co-developing & devising the lunatic Web 'holiday' Mount Kristos, the absurd virtual gift-giving service IT3C and the BAFTA nominated science-learning Web drama Planet Jemma.
