Having skirted the airfield, we're now at the back of the church.

The road splits at this point. Take the left fork and you're back at the graveyard. Proceed right and you'll join up with the old Oldton Road.

Pause a moment to take a look at the parish notice board with its church announcements, adverts for playgroups and results of the latest town cricket and bowls matches. Now move on down the right fork.

This can be a very peaceful spot, if the local kids are not clicking and clacking violently as they skateboard relentlessly over and over again on the last piece of tarmac that was the main runway.
