In Search of Oldton

Turning right at the top of Wyatts Drive, you walk along the side of the park toward the brush factory, and the attendant terrace housing for the workers.

Here is Matthews Lane... or Terrace... or Way - Mazzy can't quite remember. This is where her grandparents lived. From the southern end of the street one can see the block of flats on the other side of the park, built in the 1960s or 1970s one suspects.

The park itself has a playground, possibly a pond or paddling pool (as described by Martin) plus a few statues: some of angels, some of eminent citizens of Oldton whose names are no longer remembered.
