In Search of Oldton

Dad was a demon bridge player - or at least he liked to think so.

He had that tedious hallmark of the game bore, in that he liked to play through the hand again once it had been completed, in order to demonstrate how clever he was to win so many tricks.

I won't do that to you here. You do what you like with your pack of cards (once you have ordered one from me - hint, hint). I don't care what game you play and I'm not imposing any rules.

Just be mindful to listen to the conversations that take place around your chosen table. Watch the body language. Spot the alliances and the betrayals.

Don't get lost in the game. Pay attention to life.
